The Makerlab is a dedicated facility for creating, making, testing and prototyping new products and ideas. As well as a range of kit, the Lab will host demo days by a range of experts and companies to showcase the latest technologies.
The Lab is an expansion of current facilities in DMC01 and will continue to be home to Barnsley.io, IoT Tribe and Barnsley Council’s in house tech innovation team as well as being open to individual and business members. The Lab is also bookable for exclusive use subject to availability.
We want this space to be accessible for Barnsley in order to develop solutions, what that solution is for is down to you.

- Laptops to run the equipment
